Yamaha to add another FZ variant.

Yamaha in India is working hard to continuing its success story with the YZF-R15 and the FZ16. The latest variant of the naked bike, the FZ has been received very well in the market even beating the FZ16 when it comes to sales figures. The company is now working on launching another variant based on the same bike, albeit with a  quarter fairing, on the lines of the faired FZ1 sold abroad. Everything will remains the same except for a new quarter fairing which is not as sharp as the current, bigger Fazer. The rear view mirror are of course new and mounted on the fairing. The bike also gets indicator from the R15. The company is also working hard to getting aftermarket kits for the R15. The first in line is the full exhaust setup that will not only weight less but also bump the power slightly. Our sources have also told us that the first consignment will be here in India early next month. With this, Yamaha will be the first in India to offer company branded aftermarket performance kits.
