How to unlock iPhone 3.1.2 Blacksn0w offline without Wifi Cydia ? - Guide

In this week, as promised, I am continuously posting a series of articles on various unlocking aspects of iphone. In my last post I have written an article on Guide for unlocking iPhone with Blackra1n (Windows and Mac OS). Previously we have discussed about Unlock iPhone 3G 3GS 3.1.2 BB 5.11.07 with Blacksn0w and How to Secure your Jailbroken iPhone ?. Today the main purpose of writing this article is to find out the right solution for unlocking iPhon2 3.12 Blacksn0w in offline mode without Wifi cydia.

It is true that many of us doesn't have any WiFi connection and thus we face many problems in installing blacksn0w on our iPhones. Fortunately now it is possible to unlock iphone 3.1.2 in offline mode. Just follow the below given instructions.

Note : Here it must be noted that to follow the below given guide you must have a jailbroken iphone. Further you must also know that Blackra1n jailbroken don't work with Diskaid until you install AFC2Add from Cydia.

Offline Guide 1 (Manual Method)

In this method we have to do some work by hand in order to unlock iphone 3.1.2.

As per the above mentioned note, you required an jailbroken iphone. If you don't have jailbroken iPhone, then you must first jailbreak your iphone and then continue reading this post.
In step two you need to download Blacksn0w from its official website else just do a Google search for it. Now just extract it and you will notice 2 files in the package (a) blacksn0w.dylib (b)com.apple.CommCenter.plist.
In this step you have to download DiskAid Here and then you need to connect the iphone to your computer and run the DiskAid.
Now the DiskAid will explore the files. Go to /usr/lib/ and put the blacksn0w.dylib in it. Next put the com.apple.CommCenter.plist file in System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ .
Now reboot the device (iphone) in order to unlock it.

Offline Guide 1 (Automatic Method)

In the above method we have just unlocked the iphone manually. The below given instructions aims to unlock the iphone automatically. For this you need jailbroken iphone with SSH access.

First of all you need to download blacksn0w.deb from its official website.
In the second step you need to install blacksn0w.deb. If you don't know how to install it, then let me tell you the procedure.
You need to SSH your iphone and then explore /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall. Now just copy the downloaded file (blacksn0w.deb) and put it in the explored location (inside AutoInstall folder). If you don't have the AutoInstall folder then you can create ursel.
Reboot your iphone.
Congrats! You have just unlocked your iphone.
